Which pallet racking system is right for my warehouse?

The right system depends on SKU count, pallet turnover, stock rotation (FIFO or LIFO), lift-truck type and clear building height. Selective pallet racking gives 100% direct access for high-SKU operations, while mobile, drive-in and push-back systems trade some selectivity for much higher storage density. A layout study comparing pallet positions, picking time and safety clearances is the most reliable way to decide.

How much extra capacity can mobile pallet racking deliver?

Mobile pallet racking removes all but one working aisle per block, so it can come close to doubling pallet positions compared with conventional selective racking in the same footprint, while keeping access to every pallet. Actual gains depend on building dimensions, column grid and floor conditions.

Can existing racking be upgraded instead of replaced?

Yes. A warehouse retrofit can increase capacity and safety by re-profiling beam levels, adding height, converting areas to high-density or mobile storage, adding mezzanines and integrating semi-automated equipment, often while the site stays operational.

How often should pallet racking be inspected?

European standard EN 15635 recommends an inspection by a technically competent person at least every 12 months, supported by regular in-house visual checks by a trained Person Responsible for Racking Safety. Any damage should be reported and assessed immediately.

AGV Applicative Rack

The robotic mobile fulfillment system (MFS) is widely used for automating storage pick and pack activities in e-commerce distribution centers.

In this system, the items are stored on movable storage shelves, also known as inventory pods, and brought to the order pick stations by robotic drive units, that we call it AGV Applicative Rack or Robot Supporting Rack.

AGV Trolley - 3 kinds of navigation

1 Laser navigation

Laser navigation, used in the factory environment is not much change occasions, if the factory environment changes too much, AGV will not be able to identify the road conditions, thus reducing the utilization rate of AGV trolley.

2 Magnetic stripe navigation

Magnetic strip navigation, for the ground in the factory laid magnetic strip, AGV through its own magnetic sensors and wireless.network control for movement, less affected by the outside world, widely used;

3 Two-dimensional code navigation

Two-dimensional code navigation, the use of its own recognition of two-dimensional code function and factory Wireless network control, movement, less affected by the outside world, widely used.
